Sometimes buyers want to start planning for a move a year out in order to get their savings built up and/or credit score improved. Meeting with a lender early on can provide you with the best guidance to achieve your goals. I have lenders I can recommend for you to choose from and you can also talk to others who have been recommended.</li><li>Are you currently renting or do you need to sell your home in order to buy? These are things I can help you navigate timing wise so that the process goes as smooth as possible!</li><li>Go ahead and meet with a lender to see how much you qualify for and what type of loan. They may qualify you for more than you'd like to spend so we want to look at different price points to see where you feel comfortable. We want a range because this will come in handy when we look at homes.</li><li>Next, we'll start a search in the listing database based on the criteria you provide to me. This can be tweaked as we go along. As you look at homes, you'll start to figure out what you like and don't like, what areas you prefer and whether you want to pay more for a house that has been updated or possibly less and pay for your own updates over time.</li><li>When it comes to signing a Brokerage Agreement, there's no pressure to sign one before we start working together. I won't ask you to sign one until we write your first offer.
